Being invited to a dinner party where the host is an acclaimed chef is truly a joy to behold.. You would think it would be formal and intimidating but instead it’s the most wonderful family style nosh....
Big bowls of clams and mussels, steaming hot, wafting with the smells of garlic and wine...
and huge pans of shrimp, fennel sausage, mushrooms, corn cobs cut into 1” nibbles and baby potatoes... I am not making this up... the best part was the loud Italian family that surrounded the table... talking over each other... disagreeing... laughing... serving heaping spoon fulls... laughing some more...eating... more serving... more eating.... the absolute best ❤️
Other than the fact that the bread is handmade...the shell fish cooked to perfection and the presentation exceptional... could be dinner at my house.... 😂😂😳...
